It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond on Friday, August 7, 2020 in his 69th year, at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering Hospital. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Vera De Nobrega; and is survived by his siblings Brenda (John Ezechiels), Desmond (Margaret), Michael (the late Norma), and Lorraine (Denis Gonsalves). The kind and gentle “Uncle” Raymond to Bruce, Robert, and Roman; Craig, Donny, and Michelle; Jonathan and Timothy; and Jason and Jessica: and great uncle to A.J., Cristal, and Victoria (Sally); Evan and Abegail (Rachelle); Brandon and Hayden (Janet); Justin and Emma (Theresa); Shawn and Adelyn (Justin); Orlando, Julianna, and Olivia (Daniela); and Cheyenne and Jude (Steve). Raymond was a talented lead guitarist and singer in several bands, and an avid Elvis fan. He enjoyed time spent with his family—Christmastime and karaoke will never be the same without him. He faithfully watched the Catholic Daily Mass each day, and loved gospel music. His loving and innocent presence will surely be missed. A special thank you to his wonderful and caring friends Ian and Linda Turner, and Walter (his Community Care volunteer driver for seven years)—who all brought immense joy to Raymond's life.
