In memory of

Raymond Forhan

May 16, 1942 -  November 21, 2020

Forhan, Raymond Gerard - passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Saturday November 21,2020 at the age of 78. He was the son of Rita (nee Powers) and Joe Forhan. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Maureen (nee McCambley). His three daughters Mary Lou Cose (Andrew), Cathy Ann Stallone (Ricky) and Trish Fryer. He was the very proud Poppa of his 7 grandchildren; Rebecca, Bradley, Benjamin, Brett, Cooper, Quaidyn and Kailyn. He will be sadly missed by his granddog Berkley. Ray was an educator through out his life and had a distinguished career as a teacher and principal with the Toronto District Catholic School Board (formerly known as MSSB). He is remembered for his firm handshakes, his wisdom and knowledge, his hearty laugh, his mischievous smirk and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. Ray enjoyed CNN and the chatter of never ending talk radio. He loved golfing, euchre, the Jays, anything to do with good food, and the time spent at his summer home; in Woodland Park at Sauble Beach. He will be incredibly missed by all that knew him. Family burial service on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at Mount Hope Cemetery. Funeral mass to follow at a later date due to COVID 19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Ray can be made to the Angel Foundation for Learning, or a charity of your choice.
