Ray Anthony Blake

It is with great sadness that we announce that Ray Anthony Blake passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, surrounded by family and friends, at the age of 65. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Ray was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. He is predeceased by his father.

Ray was passionate about music, family, and community. From a young age, he travelled with sound crews and eventually built his own legendary sound system, founding the Black Force crew. He was the DJ at countless family events, always bringing energy, joy, and the perfect music for every occasion.

A dedicated worker, Ray held positions at Lear Corporation, Calea, and FedEx, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues. He was known for his generosity, integrity, and willingness to help friends and family.

Ray was also famous for his world-class soups, which brought family and friends together. He always believed in God and was a member of the Brampton Seventh-day Adventist Church, living a life guided by faith, love, and kindness.

Ray will be remembered for his laughter, warmth, music, and unwavering devotion to his family. He leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him. His life will be celebrated with music, food, and the love of family and friends, honouring the joy he shared with everyone around him.

Funeral Service: Brampton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 37 Millstone Drive, 10:00 a.m.

Burial: Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Road, 1:00 p.m.

Repast: Brampton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 37 Millstone Drive, 4:30 p.m

I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my dear cousin Ray. He was truly a great man kind-hearted, full of life, and always ready to bring joy and laughter to every family gathering with his music. His presence lit up every room, and he made sure no one ever left without a smile. My heart goes out to his wonderful couson Jackie, phil, Alex and the entire family. please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. His memory will always be a blessing to us all.
