Margaret Mary Ann Rallis
October 21, 1943, September 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Mary Rallis on Sunday, September 22, 2024. We are comforted by knowing that she is resting peacefully now.

Margaret was the daughter of Frank Humphrey and Peggy Dekryuff. She married Vasil (Bill) Rallis in 1964 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family and friends this past July.

Margaret will be incredibly missed by her husband Bill; her children, Stephanie (Mark), Kevin, and David (Amanda); her grandchildren Reid and Kelly and step-granddaughter Emma; her brothers Chris (Frani) and Nick (Sarah) and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Margaret was a true original. She was kind, thoughtful, generous, spirited, funny, determined and strong. She genuinely loved her family and friends and treasured her time with them.

Visitation will take place at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre on Friday, September 27 from 3-7pm. The funeral will take place on Saturday, September 28 at 2pm.

Thank you for a lifetime of hilarious anecdotes, love, and thoughtfulness! I am so happy you got to meet my sweet babies, Nikolai and Xiomara, spend time with my husband James and be so invested in our family. We will miss you so much, but think of you often with a smile on our faces. You truly were one of a kind and we loved you because of it. All my love, Rachel

Our family were the Rallis’ next door neighbours from 1972 to 2018 when Gail passed away almost 6 years ago to the day. Margaret and Bill were the best neighbours imaginable, always there for us whenever there was a need. Margaret was sweet, kind, and always had a beautiful smile. Although the last few years has been difficult for both of our families, we need to draw strength from the wonderful times and memories we shared together.
Sincerely,
Perry

Mrs. Rallis has been a constant and dynamic presence in my life from the day I was born. She contributed more to my life, my wedding, and my family than I can ever fully express. She is a part of every meaningful milestone in my life, and I will be forever grateful to her for her boundless generosity, and for helping to make those memory’s so vivid, memorable, and just plain wonderful . My deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of this great lady. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all.
