I met Raj almost 20 yrs ago he was a court clerk at the time & I was a newly appointed JP. He was very easy to work with and very helpful. The last time I saw Raj he appeared before me at the Scarborough Court House representing a client. I was so proud that he had full filled his dream of becoming a lawyer.
Raj will be missed by me and do many others in the Justice system. My thoughts and prayers are w his family at this time.

My condolences to Raj’s family and friends. We at work only got a slice of him and you were all fortunate to have had the entire pie. He was well liked and represented genuine kindness that is rare in our adversarial environment. We thank you for him.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to Raj's family and friends. Raj's spirit, commitment to justice and the law, his kindness, compassion and humour were legend at Old City Hall and beyond. I am not the only person among my colleagues, who was gently schooled by Raj, to ensure our days at the Hall were as smooth as possible. I am also not alone in the downright glee I felt when Raj was called to the bar. Rest well, in peace and power Rajeev.
