In memory of

Raivo Laaneorg

December 16, 1938 -  March 11, 2022

Surrounded by love and family, Raivo Laaneorg quietly went into the loving embrace of his Lord and Savior at 7:30am March 11th, 2022 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Widowed by his first wife Anne in 1976, and his second wife Asa in 2013, survived by his children David & Alla and Wendy & Dane, and his grandchildren Laura, Erik, Alana, Logan, and Emerson. Raivo will be remembered for his loving and caring heart, warm smile, and steadfast friendship. He loved his family and friends, and they all loved him back. The family will always cherish the many memories of time spent together, especially at the family cottage. Raivo even rekindled his love of waterskiing, taking tours of the lake even at 82 years of age.

The Visitation and the Celebration of Life will be held at the Funeral Centre of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto, ON. There will be Visitation on Wednesday March 16th, 2022 from 5-8pm. The following day, March 17th, there will be an hour of Visitation beginning at 9am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10am, and the Burial after. Due to continuing restrictions, there will be a private reception following for those invited.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society, Living Truth or Salvation Army.
