September 21, 1926 - August 13, 2018

Loving husband of the late Helen, Rae is survived by children Dean (Sandra), Scott (Denise), Gregg (Jackie), Leigh (David Garvey), grandchildren Kristin, Christopher, Michael, Katie, David, Jarrett and 4 great grandchildren – Jadyn, Kyle, Jacob and Elena and brother Don (the late Audrey). Predeceased by brother Lou (Helene) and sister Helen (Silas). He will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. A celebration of Rae’s life will take place at Faith United Church (1778 Nash Road, Courtice) on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Faith United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I never knew or met Rae Rundle, but I sure heard a lot of great stories about him from Leigh Garvey. I knew he was a great person, had a strong passion in life and was well-known and loved by all.

Leigh, my condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father. It is never easy to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
