Radovan Perovic

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Radovan Marinko Perović 95, of Toronto, Ontario, on February 18, 2025 after a long illness. Born in Petriče, Montenegro on March 24, 1930. Radovan was a cherished husband, father and grandfather, known for his charming good looks, deep love for Montenegro and economical ways. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 65 years, Natalija ‘Lina’ Perovic (née Ivulić) four children, Darlene Horner (Frank), Danny Perović (Elizabeth), Tanya Scarlett (James) and Vivian Perović (Bill) and six wonderful grandchildren, Olivia Horner, Kyle Scarlett, Jonathan Perović, Dana Perović, Natalia Tepelenas and Filos Tepelenas. He leaves behind many other family members in Toronto and Montenegro, most notably, his dear sister-in-law, Ksenija ‘Senka’ Bilbija and nephews Mike Perović and Doug Perović and their families.
A developer, who specialized in the use of stone and concrete, he worked on many large scale projects in both his homeland and Canada, including the Perućica Hydroelectric Dam, Podi Stone Quarry, Čilipe Airport, the Ontario Science Centre, The Department of National Defence in Ottawa and the CN Tower.
Thank you to the exceptional and compassionate care he received in his final days. A heartfelt thanks to his PSWs Sally, Albertha and Nada and to the staff at BridgePoint, especially Pamela, Selena, Linette, Dina and Oksana.
Our Tata and Djedo will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
