July 6, 1952 to February 7, 2019 Xiao Qing CHEN, surrounded by her loving family at the Scarborough Grace Hospital, is now at rest after a brief illness.

Xiao Qing was born in Guongdong, China and later immigrated with her family to Canada for a better life for her family and children; as well as to join her mother and siblings.  Predeceased by parents Hong Chau Yu (余洪就) and Chang Lan Chen (陳長蘭). Loving wife of Ru Jian Chen (健儒) of 47 years - her high school sweetheart. Cherished mother of Shu Lian (學傑), and Xin Ming (新明).  Beloved grandmother of Edwin and Alex who will miss her deeply. Dear sister of Chui Yung (Singh) of Hamilton; and Jin Chang of Calgary. Xiao Qing was loved by her many nieces, nephews and great-nephews: Earene (Alex), Waine (Nicole), Mingh, Yvonne, Jennifer, Alistair, Rohan and Bryden. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten by aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, dear friends and co-workers from all around the world including U.S.A., Hong Kong, China, and Australia.  

Xiao Qing left us with many cherished memories of her adventurous travels, delicious meals and good company.
We invite those who's lives were touched by Xiao Qing, friends, family and others, to honour her at Pine Hills Visitation Centre located at 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough from 10:00am to 11:30am on February 14th, 2019. Interment will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery located at 2505 Brock Road North, Pickering, on February 14th 2019 at 12:30pm.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and to Canadian Blood Services in lieu of flowers will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the nurses, doctors and support staff at the Scarborough Grace Hospital for their compassionate care.

先妣陈余小清痛于二零一九年二月七日寿终，积闰享寿67岁，谨定于二月十四日（星期四十时公祭，二月十四日（星期四）午十一點三十分时出殡，安葬于pine hills 坟场自置寿地，忝属宗亲戚友乡世谊哀此讣
