In memory of

Pui Kwan Eng

April 9, 1929 -  January 26, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother, Pui Kwan Eng, passed away on January, 26, 2023.

Pui Kwan was born in Hoiping, in the Guangdong province of China. She moved with her son Harry to Hong Kong, where she gave birth to Wendy. Then she immigrated to Toronto to rejoin her husband, Chung Pak Jim, and had three more children. She worked tirelessly at various jobs to support her family.

She is survived by her three daughters Wendy, Susan (Peter) and Elizabeth (Kaveh) and son David (Katarina), eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Jim and eldest son Harry. Pui Kwan is deeply missed by her family, her Low Kong Association Family, and her church families at Catch the Fire Toronto and History Makers Church.

On Friday February 3rd, 2023 there will be a visitation from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8.

Ma radiated an inner joy and outward love by her smile and embrace and we delighted in her company however the communication was with warm gestures that went beyond the words one could express. We will think of her fondly as we were honoured to have her enjoy dinner with us at our kitchen table. One day we will meet again at the more important banqueting table of heaven with all.

Your mom was a great woman who loved God and her family and all she met and touched by her special smile which always expressed the joy of the Lord.
My prayers are with the family especially Catherine Susan and Peter. We love ❤️ you all and hope for the day when we will reunite with our beautiful momma again. We are not like those that have no hope. We do as believers know this body is not the end just a place to visit before our final and eternal home in heaven.
