In Loving Memory of our Beautiful Dear Mother, Esther Lee Pui-Hing

It is with saddened hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Mother, Esther Lee Pui-hing (1926 - 2023). Mom passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023 at the age of 97, surrounded by the love of her family after battling dementia since 2019. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

For 40 years, she shared her love with the family and her late husband, the late Lee Chi-hung, our Dad, who departed us in 1989 in Hong Kong. She later found joy alongside her cherished daughters in Toronto, Canada. She spent her final years under the excellent care at Mon Sheong Richmond Hill Long Term Care Centre. Mom is survived by her six beloved daughters, Pollyanna, Catherine, Virginia (husband Jonathan Leung), Elaine (husband Chi Luen Poon), Clemence and Daphne (husband Michael Leung) and her seven grandchildren, Jessica (husband Curran Lee), Christopher (Wife Julia Cox), David (Wife Helena Billington), Samantha, Desmond, Bridgette, Justine and five great-grandchildren (Madeline, Neve, Orla, Olivia, Hannah).

As we say our goodbyes, let's remember her for her selfless love, delicious meals, and the joy she brought. Though dearly missed, she remains in our hearts. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she generously shared. Her memory will forever inspire us.

The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Monday November 27 at 11 a.m. at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre (Victoria Suite).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mon Sheong Foundation Richmond Hill Long Term Care (or the charity of your choice) in memory of Lee Pui Hing. To donate by phone, please contact Shirley Tam, Donor Relations Officer at 905-883-9288 ext. 2008 or email at shirleytam@monsheong.org

Dearest Aunty Lee,

Your smiling face and joyful laughs are well remembered by many of us who used to go to your place after school to chill in Hong Kong. You are well loved and cared for by six dedicated daughters and their families. What a blessing that is.

Fond memories of you will stay in our hearts forever. May you rest in eternal peace and may God comforts your family during this difficult period.

Love and blessings,

Winnie
