吳培芳先生 Poy Fong Ing

June 9, 1932 -  October 28, 2018

POY FONG ING, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on 28 October 2018. Poy Fong was born on 9 June 1932, in Guangdong, China. He immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1952, and became an active member of the Chinese community as a businessman, restauranteur, and President of the Chinese Freemasons of Toronto. Poy Fong, also known as George to his close friends and associates, was the consummate Chinese Canadian, who had a passion for Chinese Opera, basketball, dim sum, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, See Kuen Margaret, his children Dorothy, Grace, Viola, Jeannie, Elizabeth, and Jonah, and his grandchildren Vienna, Connor, Madeleine, Julian, and Jovanna. He will forever live in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation or any cash to the family will be donated to the Chinese Presbyterian Church.
