Our dearest loving family member, Uncle Lee Pin, you are forever in our hearts, in our minds. In our decades -long friendship, your rest in peace seems a limb fallen from a family tree. Not to mention your infectious passion of snuff bottles which created our interest in ancient Chinese relics, your humble attitude to life has set an example for the young generation. We keep hearing the voice that says, "grieve not for me, remember the best times we ever enjoyed". Countless number of bottles of brandy with you in decades always freshes up my mind to go for every challenge in life. Your teaching of "該幹啥, 就幹啥” is truly a remarkable life lesson to all.

小時候，印象中的爺爺比較嚴肅，沉默寡言，所以我有點怕他。漸漸長大後才發現，爺爺雖然話不多，但他非常細心、有愛心，默默為這個家和需要幫助的人付出。在爺爺決定回加拿大養老後，我反而覺得和他更親近了。雖然我們地理上相隔很遠，而且爺爺的耳朵不好，但通過書信，偶爾寫信給他，反而更容易表達我對爺爺的情感。爺爺不僅在工作上認真，為人處事也為我樹立了榜樣。他考車考了十幾次，堅持不放棄，最終成功。還記得2023年去加拿大時，爺爺還記得我小時候忘了關好車門的趣事。雖然他年紀已高，但每天都堅持鍛鍊，生活有條理，還不忘關心我爸爸肩膀疼的問題。

在爺爺晚年的時候，我對他的印象由嚴肅寡言變得可愛，一直覺得爺爺的樣子很像電影《天外奇蹟》中的主角卡爾。他對奶奶的愛也是那麼長久。現在我相信爺爺已經在天上，回到天父的懷裡，不用再擔心我們，與奶奶團聚。我會永遠想念他，有一天我們會在天家再團聚。

爷爷: It was a privilege to know you over the course of your long and remarkable life. You did so much and worked so hard to set your family up for comfort and success, and hopefully you were able to take in and accept the fruits of all that work in Hong Kong and Toronto. We owe so much to you—so it’s little wonder that my father would devote himself so piously to you. Thank you for the toys at Walmart, the mindful example, and your quiet wisdom.
