April 26, 1942 - June 6, 2023

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Tanya (John), Gary (Terry) and Karen (Wendell). Proud Grandma of Cian, Avery, Danica, Avelyn, Ciara and Daniel. Much loved sister of the late Marie and the late Tom, sister in-law to Harry. Cherished aunt to Pauline and the late Barbara. Phyllis will be missed by her many other extended family members and friends. She had an upbeat and whimsical nature and brought the fun with her wherever she went including winters in Florida or at the family cottage. Phyllis loved to entertain and was devoted to her family and always prioritized her children’s happiness. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a part of the Red Hat Society where she made many cherished friendships. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My sincere condolences go out to Bob & his family on the passing of Phyllis. Phyllis & I became great friends in Florida & continued through out the summers. Words cannot express what a wonderful person she was. Her kindness, loving heart & humour witt, will never be forgotten. Phyllis was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed.
