Even though Phid (as I affectionately always called her), lived to such a golden age, her passing for me is still a hard pill to swallow. To me, it's like the end of an era when the good times just continued to rock 'n roll, not only with Phid but also her beloved husband Ken. Just soooo many great times with them both at their cottage in Sundridge, including fishing with Phid many times and just going out in her neat little motor boat for a cruise! To her close family, my great friend Kevin and his brother Kerry (whom I have not seen in quite sometime), and also Kevin's wife Anna and their two daughters, all I can offer is my condolences and God's hand to help in the grieving of this loss. I will say, that when I think of Phid, I can just about hear that infectious laugh that was always so present with her -- I admire her because she lived life to the fullest!
It was such a pleasure spending many holiday gatherings with you dear Phyllis. I will treasure all the happy times and laughter.
Rest peacefully as I know you will.
Much love,
Rita
Aunt Phyd was like a second mother to me when I was growing up and I loved her with all my heart. We will treasure the memories, in later years, of Phyllis and Joe dancing up a storm at the cottage in Sundridge.
To Kevin and Kerry and your families - though expected, it is still a loss and heartbreaking. Shining lots of light, love and prayers your way.
Love Suzy
Sincere condolences Kevin, Anna, Kathleen, Allison and Kerry, Julie, Lisa, Grant,
from Rob and I.
We will always remember Phyllis' fun attitude at our Christmas gatherings.
A long life lived, bless her.
Rest in peace Phyllis.
I will miss your humour and your determined spirit. I always said I wanted to grow up to be just like you Fid. Will miss you at the lake. Keep catching fish up in heaven. Until we meet again Pat
