It is with deep sadness that we announce that Philip passed away on June 28, 2024 at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital after experiencing post surgery complications.

Philip was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Helen Mei Tsing Lit
He is survived by his daughter Alice, her spouse Stephen (Deceased), Son Dave, his spouse Cathy and grandchildren Krista, Robbie, Stephen Jr., Andrew and his spouse Kirstin.


Funeral will be held on July 5, 2024 at the York Cemetery and Funeral Centre located at 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto Ontario.
Visitation will commence at 10:30-1100 AM
Funeral service will commence at 1100-12:00

It's been many years since I last saw Mr. Philip Lit, but my last memory of him was that of a soft-spoken down-to-earth kind of man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and family. On this sad occasion, I only have good memories of him in the past, and that is enough to remember him by. The good memories are all that matter. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Lit.
