In memory of

蔡培文先生 Philip Puiman Choy

July 29, 1933 -  March 22, 2017

Early on March 22, 2017, Philip Choy, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather experienced a brain hemorrhage, following which his bodily functions gradually shut down without him waking up. He went to be with the Lord on the same afternoon. We are grateful to God that he left us in such a peaceful way. We remember him as an extraordinarily hard-working man who looked after his family well, and as a gentle and forgiving person. Most importantly, we remember him as one who had put his faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord - a legacy he has passed on to his children and grandchildren. May God have all the glory.

We can say of Philip, cherished husband, caring father, and doting grandfather, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (ESV).

Dear Aunty Anna, Richard and Raymond,

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Philip. He was always such a cheerful man with a friendly smile to all. My deepest condolences to you. I received the sad news this evening while in Vancouver and wish I could attend the service. I have asked my Aunt Helen to make a donation on my behalf tomorrow to commemorate Uncle Philip. Please take good care.
