Mississauga, Canada (Ex. Dar-es-Salaam/Nairobi). It is with sadness, the Ferrao family announce the death of their beloved husband/father Philip Ferrao who passed away on Monday, December 12th, 2022.

Philip was born in 1951, in Moshi, Tanzania. He was the beloved husband of Lorensa Ferrao. Cherished father of Melissa and Kelvin. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Julie. Loving brother to Oscar (Rosalie) and late Nelson. Brother-in-law to Jenifa (Aggie) D’Mello, Monica and Zara Pereira. Uncle to Stephanie (Elton), Elaine (Trevor), Aaron, Alicia and Gavin (Steffi).

Visitation: Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on, on Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Info: Please note that due to the rising covid cases, the family is requesting masks be worn and social distancing be respected wherever possible while you are in the funeral home.

Funeral Mass: Family and Friends will be received at ST. MARTIN OF TOUR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1290 McBride Ave, Mississauga, ON, Canada, L5C 1M8, on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 10:30am.

I remember Philip as a kind caring person earlier, as he was one of our alter boys' leader. We will remember him, and you, his family, in our prayers. He is now in heaven, looking out and praying for you all.
