In memory of

Philip K.C. Young (楊國昌)

July 10, 1948 -  October 28, 2021

Philip K.C. Young, 73 years old, had a lifelong battle with stroke and other health complications. He succumbed to heart failure at Michael Garron Hospital on Thursday, October 28th, 2021.

Philip is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pauline Young, his daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Herman, and grandchild Hannah.

Philip was a gentle and kind soul who always desired to provide for his family. He was a light to this world, always genuinely asking people how they are doing. A trip to the grocery store would never be complete without him spending time chatting with cashiers to see how their day was going. He spent his time dabbling in many different interests from programming, entrepreneurship, sales, and hospitality. He was an avid food lover. He will be dearly remembered as an unconditional loving father who loved on his daughter every way he could.

A special thank you to the complex care staff on J5 at Michael Garron Hospital for supporting Philip during his final stage of life.

Philip will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday, November 6th, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

For those who wish to virtually attend the Funeral Service, a livestream service will be available starting at 2PM EST on Saturday, November 6th, 2021: https://youtu.be/KiCsQkPo7hc
