Petronella (Nel) Hubertina Antonia Hohensee (nee Loonen) – Suddenly on Saturday November 28, 2020 at the Allendale Longterm Care. Nel, 85 years old, beloved wife of Fred. Loving mother to Inga and Monique, proud Oma to Adam, Michael, Lisa and Eric.

Nel was a nurse in Holland and worked in the maternity ward when she came to Canada she continued as a nurse’s aid with the elderly. After retiring, Nel continued to volunteer, to assist others.

She treasured her trips with family to some of her favorite places, including Berlin, Holland, Italy, Paris, London, Chicago, Cuba and Disney World. Her life was full.

Some of Nel’s favorite activities included, shopping, playing cards and socializing with her friends. She loved the family pets and chilling in the sun to get a tan. Nel always took pride in her appearance, making sure to always have matching outfits.

We will miss you, but always remember you.
