It is with great sadness that we sign this book acknowledging Peter’s passing. Though this life is only part of our journey we will miss him terribly. Dave is in their homeland and mourning greatly. I am holding onto the insurmountable memories created at 2 Barrymore. Peter had a distinctive voice, an unmistakable laugh and a smile that lifted the spirit of everyone in the room. There was always plenty of debatable topics when Peter was visiting. A room filled with laughter and good food was always in accompaniment though the volume was often off the charts! Straity was the chef, KG was filled with facts, Tony sat amused, David usually kept the jokes rolling, Buddy kept them honest and Bunny monitored the language because Sue was sitting silently but observing - these were some of the best days of my life. But it was Peter who always held the floor in conversation and the most dramatic. It was he who taught me what it was to be a passionate Jamaican, my adopted culture. When Peter settled down with Claudine, they became the Aunt & Uncle whom Cordell held close; his “bunny” travelled the world with us. We will cry, laugh and smile when Peter is remembered - he made our life worth living. RIP 🕊️One Love ✌️

Peter,

When Claudine brought you into our midst.
Little did we know, it was to be a lifetime gift.

To my family and me you brought joy, a little bit of exoticism and among other things good food...
You lifted our spirit and lightened our mood...

God knows my family do love a good argument,
and in that regards, you were so much more than our complement.

We may not meet again until...
We will miss you still...

Love,
Yvon

Uncle Peter was; my uncle, my teacher, my advisor, my champion and was my lifelong friend. His guidance, support and wise counsel comforted me through my challenges. His humor, creativity and zest for life blessed me in my success and achievements.
I will sorely miss Uncle Peter as he taught me so many things and of all his achievements there is nothing that impressed upon me more than what I believe is the greatest of any of lifes accomplishments. And that is the love of an extrodinary woman!
Thank you so much Claudine for giving uncle Peter so much to live for and for making the Henriques Clan so proud. Bless you in this somber time of grief and take comfort in knowing that though cut short in the potential quantity of years, in love a minute is an eternity
My deepest and humblest condolences to all who had the opportunity to share in Uncle Peters' energy, frequency and vibration. He was infectious in his youthful exuberance and passionate in his embrace of life.
Uncle Peter will exists fondly in my heart and may his legacy live on in wonderful stories of joy and laughter

A wonderful unique man who always new how to make everyone feel welcome and how to throw the best parties. That was Peter. Two things I admire the most in Peter was his infectious laughter/smile that was guaranteed to brighten your day. Secondly, his endless love and respect for Claudine. These two characteristics were so strong to his core and with him until the very end. Peter was an epic chef who expressed his love for people by feeding them and if you were lucky enough to taste his jerk chicken then you felt his love in action. Peter will live in our hearts and memories forever. Miss you Peter. Hugs Ted, Denise and Natalie xox
