Peter Gregory English

January 14, 1956 – September 6, 2021

With heavy hearts the family of Greg English is deeply saddened to share his passing on September 6, 2021 at the age of 65. Greg is lived on in the memories of his loving wife Patricia Timmins; children Kristen, Brad, Jake, and Lauren; step-children Nolan and Chappy; grandchildren Odin and Luc; sisters Lydia and Arlene; and countless friends, colleagues, and extended family members who all collectively mourn his passing and cherish their unique memories of him. Greg was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth along with his brother Randy, sister Shelley, and granddaughter Maeve. Having just retired from a 38-year career with Brampton Transit in 2019 as their senior-most driver, Greg excitedly moved from Brampton to his new home in Hawkesbury, ON with Patricia and Chappy. A life-long handy-man and do-it-yourselfer of all trades, Greg unflinchingly took on many new projects in retirement most notably being the purchase and upkeep of a brand new 43-foot Ventana RV. In 2020, Greg and Patricia accomplished two dreams of theirs by first, travelling with that RV down to Florida and across to California and second, marrying one another after 14-years as partners on November 20, 2020. They were in the act of planning their next RV trip together when Greg unexpectedly passed away. As a loving husband, dad, grandfather, and friend, Greg’s life will be remembered in a visitation on September 16, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm at Meadowvale Funeral Home in Brampton, ON. The visitation will be by invite due to in-person limitations but made available virtually for all through a live-stream on the funeral home website. Memorial donations and gifts may be sent to KidSport Canada.

Although we never worked the same shift. Greg being a straight a.m. guy and me working p.m. straights. When our paths did cross at work he was always so kind and such a gentleman. My condolences to the family.
