Peter Bevan passed away at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga on August 17, 2022 just before midnight, after being visited that afternoon by loving daughter Karen and son Stephan. He will be laid to rest on August 27, which would have been his 87th birthday..Peter was married to wife Lisette for 55 years, and received a congratulatory letter at 50 years from the Governor-General of Canada.

Peter was the dear brother of Frank, Cardwell, and Dennis, and father of Andrew who still resides in England.

Peter was born in England in 1935, but has lived the majority of his life in Canada. His work experience as a mining geologist took him to many places across the globe, having worked and consulted for dozens of mining companies throughout his career.

As a young adult Peter enjoyed playing tennis, but his favourite past-time was golf and he had many trophies to show of his prowess in the sport.
