In memory of

Petar Vrankovic

July 1, 1951 -  December 28, 2025

Petar Vrankovic went peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus and finished his good race on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 74.

He was predeceased by his mother, with whom he had an inseparable bond, Katarina “Katica” Plavić, and by his precious son, who held a special place in Petar’s heart, Novak “Novica” Vrankovic.

Petar is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Nada Vrankovic; his four dear children: Kathy Craciun (Cornel), Kosta Vrankovic (Milica), George Vrankovic (Valentina), and Darlene Magda (Eugene); and his half-brother, Novak Plavić, along with Novak’s wife and children.

He will also be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his 15 grandchildren: Peter, Brandon, John, and Mark Craciun (Kathy’s children); James, Simon, and Lola Vrankovic (Kosta’s children); Peter, Brian (Shanelle), Jakob, and Victoria Vrankovic (George’s children); and Stefan, Marina, Sarah, and David Magda (Darlene’s children).

Petar will also be cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, work colleagues, and the many believers and friends throughout the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene) denomination, as a believer in Christ, in which he held membership for 49 years—especially the Richmond Hill Congregation, where he faithfully attended for 30 years since its founding in 1995.

Petar will always be remembered for his zeal for the Lord, his sacrificial love, warm hospitality, and generosity toward all whom he encountered.

For Petar,
I mourn the passing of a dear friend and valued business associate whose integrity, wisdom, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing Petar. He was a person of character, generosity, and quiet strength. His guidance, friendship, and steady presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the lives he touched. I am eternaly grateful for the time shared and will always remember Petar with respect, gratitude, and warmth.
Sincerely, Neil Koebel

WE REMEMBER WITH HEAVY HEART AND WITH OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES IN OUR ENORMOUS LOSS OF BRO. PETAR VRANKOVIC. HE WAS COUNTLESS BLESSINGS ON ALL OF US AS A DEVOTED, MOST COMPASSIONATE SERVER OF GOD. HE LOVED THE LORD JESUS, AND TOOK ON THE SPREADING OF THE GOSPEL WITH WORDS AND DEEDS. WE ARE CONFIDENT HE HAS EARNED HIS JUST REWARD, TO THE ETERNAL GLORY IN HEAVEN. HE IS SORELY MISSED!

It was with a very sad day when I learned of the passing of Peter, a dear friend and college. I will always remember his smiling face and jovial attitude at all of our meetings. I appreciated him as a client but mostly as a friend. Even though we had many disagreements we both respected one another and appreciated one another. He will be missed.
My deepest condolences to the Family. I wish I could be there but today, but unfortunately I am away until early Feb. I will log in to the service as I want to be present to say farewell.
