In memory of

Perdicas (Perry) Neretlis

May 25, 1943 -  February 2, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Perdicas (Perry) Neretlis announce his passing on February 2, 2021 in his 78th year after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a proud and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Perry is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Aspasia; his children, Lazaros (Christine), Bill (Jessica) and Anna (Sean); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Elena, Adrianna, Benjamin and Tye. Perry’s greatest pleasures came from spending time with family, especially watching his grandchildren compete in numerous sporting activities such as hockey, volleyball, baseball and basketball. His grandchildren will greatly miss their “Papous”, but are blessed to have been able to spend so much time with him. We will all miss him – his unique sense of humour, his love of music and his devotion to his family. No matter what he was going through himself, he would always be there to help us when needed. He will forever be in our hearts.

During this Covid pandemic, a private family funeral service will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Visitation from 9:00 am – 10:00 am followed by a short service. If desired, honorariums can be made in his name to The Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made through mountpleasantgroup.com.

Perry was a great co-worker and friend. One of the hardest working people that Johnny ever worked with. Our deepest condolences to Aspasia, his children and grand-children, he always spoke with such pride for his whole family. May he rest in peace.
We will miss him but he will always have a place in our hearts.
