George: We never had the honour of meeting your Mom, but we can tell how wonderful she must have been just by knowing you. We reflect the best parts of our parents thanks to the loving way they raised us.
Sharing in your sorrow with love and friendship during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences to you, your siblings and your respective families.
Being of Canadian ancestry, I knew nothing of the Greek culture when I first met Penelope through her daughter and my daughter-in-law Maria. Penelope was a very kind and thoughtful friend who introduced me to her Greek home and customs at every opportunity. She was determined to teach me Greek; her lesson was, just say a Greek word five times and you’ll remember it always. My memories are many from harvesting bay leaves right from the tree, walking down to the village for fresh bread before breakfast to a walking history tour through Nafpaktos. Penelope was always spontaneous and full of life. She was the only person I knew that could dance with an opened, full bottle of wine on her head (and never spill a drop). I shall never forget my friend.
May this express sympathy that words could never say.
Time ease Ssrrow and loving memories bring you PEACE always.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
