In memory of

Peggy Hinch

June 26, 1923 -  September 15, 2016

Peggy Hinch (nee MacKay), age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep, united with the Lord and joining her beloved husband, Carl Hinch. Peggy is predeceased by her mother Jean MacKay (nee Hamilton) and Reverend Henry MacKay, and brother Ross. Peggy was the most loving, nurturing mother to her three children Terry, Dianne (husband John Moroz), and Stephen. Her grandchildren, Megan, Brian and Lauren Moroz and Daniel Hinch feel blessed by her constant encouragement and joy in their lives. Peggy was an accomplished pianist and professional singer and model before pursuing her role as the best mother ever, and a medical/dental assistant in following years. She pursued a degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto. Her playfulness, wit, sense of humour, and positivity were cherished by all who knew her. Mom enjoyed family, dinner dancing with Dad and friends, travel, bridge, mall walking, volunteer work at the hospital, vodka martinis, and hamming it up for the camera. A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Tuesday September 20th, 2016 with 11am visitation until the 11:45 service with reception to follow at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd. Toronto). Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
