In memory of

Peck Seng Chee

October 24, 1940 -  April 11, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Peck Seng Chee announces his passing in Burnaby, British Columbia at the age of 82. Seng will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Yeow Chin, his daughter Eugenia (Isaac), his son Max, his grandchildren Hana, Sean, Liling, Meiling, and Nuala, his sister Peck Tian Chandran, his nieces and nephews, and all of his friends.
Seng was born in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, and spent his childhood there with his many brothers, sisters, and cousins. He moved to Sydney, Australia where he obtained his University Degree and eventually settled in Toronto, Canada in 1971. In Toronto, he worked as a chartered accountant and owned and ran a manufacturing facility, contributing to the development of several innovative products. In 1998, he moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, to enjoy his retirement and spend more time with his friends and family, while taking numerous trips back to Malaysia and around the world.
Seng will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love of food, humour and good nature. He was an avid tennis and ping pong player and enjoyed a round of golf, followed by a pint. In his later years, he also loved playing poker with his friends, and they shared many fun and memorable moments together. He was also a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and cherished every moment he spent with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Seng's family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers at Vancouver General Hospital and Burnaby Hospital for their compassionate care.
The family would appreciate donations in memory of Seng to the VGH UBC Hospital Foundation or the Burnaby Hospital Foundation.
May his soul rest in peace.
