In memory of

Pearl Cicely Ramoo

November 9, 1946 -  October 14, 2022

We regretfully announce the passing of Pearl Cicely Ramoo of Scarborough, ON Canada (Born in Five Rivers, Arouca, Trinidad and Tobago) on Friday October 14th, 2022. Pearl was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Our mother Pearl, was one of the strongest and kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. Pearl graduated from commercial school (Zenith Educational Institute) in Trinidad with a background in shorthand, typing and book keeping. After graduating, she moved to Canada with her Husband in 1972 and she went on to pursue a career in Hairdressing where she studied at Bruno's School of Hair Design in the 1980's. Pearl went on to open her own Hair Salon called "Cicely's Unisex Hair Design" in the 1990's in Scarborough and was known for her skillful hand with many customers following her after she closed her business and began running a business at home.

In 1964, she met Mano "Manny" and together they went on to have 2 children. Pearl was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Pearl was predeceased by her Parents George H. Persad and Rosanna "Rose" Persad (nee Singh), Brother Bill A. Persad and loving cousin Althea B. Parahoo. Pearl Cicely Ramoo is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Mano "Manny" Ramoo, her children Crystal Cicely Ramoo, Mark Mitchum Joshua (Trisha) Ramoo (nee Ramnanan), her grandchildren Joshua Benjamin N Ramotar and Catherine Olivia Rose Ramotar, her nieces Linda (George) Singh (nee Ramoo), Sharon R. Persad and nephew Terry (Nalini) Ramuite.
