In memory of

Pawel Hac

January 31, 1979 -  December 31, 2024

Pawel Hac passed away suddenly on December 31, at the age of 45.

A loving husband to Kate, devoted father to Aria and Julia, beloved son to Wladyslaw and Miroslawa, big brother to Ola (Bogdan) and Justyna (Marcin), and cherished uncle to his many nephews and nieces. He will always hold a special place in our hearts, and will be fondly remembered by all his family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues.

Pawel was born in Lidzbark Warminski, Poland and emigrated to Canada in 1993, alongside his parents and sisters. After graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from Ryerson University, Pawel went on to obtain his electrician’s certificate from Humber College and became a highly regarded electrician.

Pawel was an old soul with a passion for growing palm trees and banana plants in his backyard. He had an interest in the stock market and loved watching hockey, baseball and soccer. Pawel was an avid camper and loved nothing more than relaxing by the firepit.

Pawel was simply the best. The love he had for his children beamed through everything he did, from being a proud dance dad, to helping with math homework, to tucking Aria in every night. He was always there for his friends and family, lending a helping hand without hesitation. He enriched the lives of everyone he met with his calm and caring personality.

We are sure he was greeted in heaven by his grandparents and best friend Witek.

Also known as Paul, Pablos and Toothpick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund for Julia and Aria at:

What a lovely man he was. A pleasure to watch him solve whatever problem any project had for him. My heart felt condolences to his family.
