In memory of

Paul Pfeiffer

March 20, 1932 -  February 24, 2020

Mississauga — Paul "Papa" Pfeiffer, 87, died Monday, February 24th, 2020 at the Credit Valley Health Center in Mississauga following a brief illness.

Loving husband to the late Sarah Pfeiffer and father to the late Timothy Pfeiffer. He leaves his daughter Paula and her husband Wayne; two grandchildren Michael (Jaymee) and Sara (Dan); two great-grandchildren Kaylee and Madilyn; Sisters Katrina, Elizabeth, Anna, Maria (predeceased) and brother Frank (predeceased).

Born in Semeici, Yugoslavia, the son of Valentin Pfeiffer and Anna (Hack).

Papa fled war torn Yugoslavia at an early age and migrated to Canada where he met and married Sarah. He was a resident of Mississauga for the past 35 years.

Papa had a passion for wrestling and one of his fondest memories was attending a recent WWE event with his granddaughter Sara.

On any given Saturday, Papa could be found travelling throughout Mississauga in search of a good deal aka garage sales. The treasures he found made him happy and he could not wait to show them off.

Papa was also a handyman and the storage shed he build one weekend with his grandson Michael, was a fond memory he spoke of often.

One of Papa's favorite saying was "If you stay with me, you might have a laugh". And for those who knew him, there was always a laugh to be shared.

He will be greatly missed by all.

A funeral service will be held Monday March 2nd at the Meadowvale Funeral Center, with burial at Prospect Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
