In memory of

Patsy LaVaughn Bright

April 28, 1943 -  September 24, 2018

Patsy LaVaughn (Cromwell) Bright
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the death of our precious Pat on September 24, 2018 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Through the dedication and love of Pat’s husband Glen, Pat’s last wish was granted as she was able to end her life on earth in her home surrounded by her family. Pat was born on April 28th, 1943 in Weymouth Falls, Nova Scotia the daughter of the late Gloria Cromwell and Clarence Carter. She was raised by her grandparents, Sidney and Gertrude Cromwell. Pat moved to Ontario at a young age and worked several different jobs. It was here she met the love of her life, Glen Bright, a good Nova Scotia man. They married on July 5th, 1980. Pat’s life’s passions were her family, trips to Nova Scotia every summer with Glen, fishing trips, going to the flea market and long weekend drives. Pat is survived by her loving husband Glen, sons, Terry, Johnny (Anna) and Glen Junior (Dana). Also daughter Kim (Jhun). Left to mourn her passing are her three precious grandchildren, Crystal Lee, Brittany and Brandon. Also surviving are her sister Yvonne and brother John. Besides her parents, Pat was predeceased by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, September 27th, 2018 at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow. Interment to be held at a later date. A sincere thank you is extended to Dr. Mavrogiannis, Elsie and all the caregivers who helped Glen care for Pat. A special thank you to Pat’s cousins Gloria, Charlene and Jaimella for all their help and visits. Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice, 220 Sherway Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9C 0A7
