It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Yuk Ying Wong (née Shim) who died peacefully at the age of 88 on May 31, 2024 at her home in Toronto.

Patricia is the loving wife of Winston Wong, with whom she shared a 63-year journey of love and companionship. She is the cherished mother of Leighton(Valerie), Neil(Fanny), Ian(Diana), and Marie. She is the loving Po Po to Rachel, Christen, Olivia, Brianna, Jasmin, Jeffrey, and Jenny, who all brought tremendous joy to Patricia’s life.
Patricia is remembered for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family.

Patricia was born to James and Ella Shim in China and has 2 brothers born in Jamaica, predeceased Herman(Helen, predeceased) and Stanley(Margaret, predeceased). She will be remembered by many relatives and friends.

May Patricia rest in heavenly peace, knowing she is deeply loved forever. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held in her honour on June 13, 2024 from 9-10am, followed by chapel service from 10-11am, then interment 11:15-11:30am at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre and Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON).
