In memory of

Patricia Vienneau

April 26, 1940 -  July 8, 2024

Patricia Vienneau (Hachey) passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Long-Term Care Home after lengthy illnesses. She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Cynthia) Vienneau and her beloved grandson Matthew Vienneau. Patricia was the daughter of the late Isidore Hachey and the late Brigitte (Albert) (Hachey) Boudreau.

Patricia was from a large blended family of 22, including Claudette Cunningham (Donald), Carmel Thibodeau (Donald), Noëlla Trainor (Robert), Camille Hachey, Peter-Paul Hachey (Lyn), Géralda Hachey, Joanne Tower (Gary), Colombe Boudreau (Barb), Vernon Boudreau, Lucie Sollazzo (Jerry), Margaret-May Noël (Tim), Rosemarie Boudreau (Albénie), Annabelle Gauvin (Yvon), Marie-Rita Roy (Daniel), Claudette Guitard (Raymond) Anita Aubé (Reno), Henri Boudreau (Lorraine), Clifford Boudreau (Kathleen) and Roger Boudreau (Gisele), Ernest Boudreau (Anne-Marie), and Blanche O’Connel (Allie).
Note: for simplicity with her large family it hasn’t been noted who has survived Patricia, or not.

She was very close with her stepson Blair Robert, his wife Anne Marie and their daughters Carolyn and Emma, and her dearest sisters-in-law on the Vienneau side of the family Millie O’Neil and Jeannette Vienneau.

‘Aunt Pat’ had a special place in many hearts with extended family in the Greater Toronto Area, Robert Thibodeau, Deborah Thibodeau (Andrew), Mackenzie Williams, Elaine Saunders, Sean Saunders (Ashleigh), Brady Saunders (Aliyah) Kaylee Saunders, Ron Vienneau (Rose), Ed Vienneau (Carole), Dianne Richard, in London, Christopher Sollazzo, in Calgary Tina Sollazzo (Ted), in Halifax, Beverly Trainor, in New Brunswick Rickie Hachey (Sherry), Jason Hachey (Bernice), Tracy Hachey (Michel), Rodney (Sophie), Jennifer Tower (Michel), Jonathan Tower (Anouk), in BC Sandra Trainor (Evan), in Bermuda, Claudia Jensen (Keith), and in Montreal Johnny O’Neil (Claire), Linnea O’Neil and Bobby O’Neil. There were many more family members across Canada and close family friends that she was Aunt Pat too as well.

‘In lieu of flowers’ please consider donating to the Canadian Cancer Society. As a 30+ year cancer survivor who never had a reoccurrence that should be encouragement for everyone facing cancer’s challenges.

Hi Cindy,

Just wanted to pass along a virtual hug to you and Matthew on the loss of your mother and grandmother, It has been wonderful over these years to hear the stories of your close family, and I hope that your extended family can now help fill this very big gap. Please know that my thoughts are with you especially during this time, and look forward to chatting with you when the time is right,

Joy

Dear Cindy and Matthew - I have loved seeing the support and care you both showed your mom / grandma through the years. You are wonderful people, and I am sure she felt lucky to have you. Wishing you blessings of her memory. Cheryl

We’ll miss Pat. Over the decades we got together many times and as a family we saw her grandson (Cindy’s son, Matthew) and our children Carolyn and Emma, grow from children to mature young adults. Our Christmases with her, Cindy, and Matthew and extended family became a tradition for us. There were always Hallmark movies playing in background, and tasty Tourtière pies on the festive table. In the warmer weather, we admired Pat’s passion for Blue Jays baseball. She was a loyal fan and, one summer, I don’t think she missed a single game. Most of all, we’ll miss Pat’s calming presence and gentle laugh. She always made us feel welcome.
