In memory of
Patricia Nan Doner
May 2, 1933 - December 6, 2022
Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary, brothers Bob and Don, sisters Marilyn (Hackett) and Kay (Phenix), and
nephew Larry Hackett. Survived by sister Dorothy (Coles), nephews David Hackett and Glenn Coles, nieces Susan
Hackett, Ann Sandoval and Dianne Coles, along with many family members of the Doner Clan in Alliston.
Except for a few years in Vancouver in the 1960s, Nan spent her life in Toronto. A graduate of Northern Secondary, Nan
had a long career as an Executive Assistant with St.Mary’s Cement.
Nan was a member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church for many years. Her faith was a solid foundation in her life. She
had a generous spirit and always reached out to anyone who needed help. All of her family thought the world of her and will miss her smile, laugh and kind heart.
Nan was also very active over the years, participating in skiing, tennis, hiking and other activities. She also loved to go camping and travel with friends and family.
As per Nan's wishes, she was cremated and will be buried alongside her Mom and Dad at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Her family have chosen the date of Tuesday, May 2, 2023 for her interment and celebration of life. This would have been her 90th birthday.
Nan’s interment and Celebration of Life will be held at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery & Funeral Center which is located at 375 Mount Pleasant Road. You enter from the east gates off Mount Pleasant Rd just north of Moore Street. Go straight to the red brick building, follow signs to Funeral Center (second right then first left).
Details for Tuesday May 2

1:30-3:30pm Celebration of Life reception in a room on the second floor of the main building – the Funeral Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Timothy Eaton Memorial Church General Fund would be greatly appreciated.
