Patricia McGee

In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and a loyal friend and partner, Patricia McGee at the age of 71 on Sat Jan 14, 2017.

Patti leaves us after a fierce battle with brain cancer. She faced her illness the same way she lived her life-with courage, grace, dignity and humour. She lived for her family, and always made time for her great number of life long friends.

Patti will be fondly remember by her partner Mike and her sons Tom, Chris and Sean, along with their partners and children would like to invite you to a celebration of her life at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre (1057 Brock Road, Pickering) on Sunday Jan 29 from 2-4 pm.

Patti touched many in her life and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

We were sorry to hear of Patti's illness and grateful to have had the chance to visit her at the retirement residence. Our thoughts are with the entire family at this very sad time.
It was wonderful to reconnect with Patti and Aunt Doe upon our move back to Toronto and we had several visits over the past few years. We had hoped for much more time together.

Tom, Chris, Sean and families, my deepest condolences in your time of sorrow. Your mom/nana/will surely be missed. I have many fond memories of hours and hours we spent together chatting. Mike, although I never had the pleasure of meeting you, she was so very fond of you and I think you made the last few years of her life very special. She was definitely a one-of-a-kind person. So glad I was able to spend a few hours with her when I did. Thinking of you all. Cherish the memories.
