It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Paddy) Trubecki on Wednesday November 10, 2021. Pat passed away peacefully at home as per her wishes after a courageous battle with cancer. Pat was retired from American Express after 25 years of service. Her determination, kindness and love will be missed by her family and friends. Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald, her son Robert ( Ann Marie ) and grandsons David and Jacob. Pat was born in Weston, Ontario daughter to John and Audrey Sparling, sister to Marilyn, Peter and Lorne. Pat loved to spend her summers at her Muskoka cottage and her fall months in Florida. Special thanks to the medical staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital, the Oshawa Cancer Centre and the Durham Palliative Care Unit for their professionalism, kindness and compassion.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday November 21, 2021 at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre at 1057 Brock Road Pickering (Brock Rd & 401 ). Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm followed by a service. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. At the request of the family, proof of vaccination and ID is required to attend this event. COVID restrictions will be in place.
