In memory of

Patricia "Patti" De Vargas

July 2, 1971 -  October 6, 2024

Patricia (Patti) De Vargas passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024. She is survived by her mother Cecilia, brother Julio (Kerry), and niece Samantha (Jonathan). Her family is comforted by the knowledge that she is reunited with her predeceased father (Julio C.) and older sister (Cristina). Patti’s smile always lit up the room and her laughter was contagious. She loved to dance and get manicures; but there’s nothing she loved more than a medium double double and Boston Cream donut from Tim Horton’s every Saturday morning.

All services will be held at the Funeral Centre building. Following the events at Mount Pleasant, a private reception will be also be held at the family home. For friends and family overseas or unable to attend: the funeral will be available to watch via live stream. A link will be posted on this page by Mount Pleasant staff on Thursday October 17th (please note that all times are EST).

There are so many cherished memories with Patricia. Patti always lighted up the room with her smile, loved to dance and get her nails painted. Patti was deeply loved, and will be missed by all. My prayers are with Patti and the family.

Patricia you are greatly missed. You leave behind so many pleasant memories.Knowing what you want ,when you wanted it.
Your face lighting up when a run to Tim Hortons
was mentioned.
That hand of yours reaching up to my face with a smile when you did not want to use words.
