In memory of

Pastor Michael Mallay

May 5, 1952 -  April 21, 2022

Pastor Michael Mallay went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 21, 2022, at the age of 69 after a short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). During his final moments he was surrounded by his devoted wife Pastor Rosemarie Mallay, loving son & daughter in-law Devon & Lisa Mallay and his caring nieces Esther Frotten, Aminah Amin, sister in-law Sharon Amin and mother in-law Enid Soobrian.

Survived by sisters Doreen Harnarine & Violet Roopan, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Mareena Frotten. Pastor Mallay was born to Aaron Mallay & Basmati Mallay in Cotton Tree Village Westbank Berbice Guyana. He started attending church at the early age of eight and years later he went on to start his ministry. Pastor Mallay had an unwavering faith in God and he went on to start T.A.L.F.A (Toronto Abundant Life Fellowship Assemblies). Travelling doing God’s work in Israel, India, Cuba, England and many more countries.

He met his wife, Pastor Rosemarie in 1978, they were married on August 30, 1980 and they were blessed with their son Devon a few years later. Dad was loved by so many. His positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart left an impression wherever he went. He never met a stranger that didn't quickly become a friend; he always went out of his way to help anyone in need and had an incredible work ethic that will forever be remembered.

Masks will be mandatory during all services. As requested for the funeral day, please wear bright and cheerful colours in Celebrating the Wonderful Life of Pastor Mallay.
