Patrick Terence Jones, 82, died on Saturday, August 25, 2018, in a sudden and tragic hit-and-run. Survived and loved by his common-law spouse, Carol, of 25 years; his ex-wife, Joanne, 82, of 30 years; his daughter Angela, 58, and son-in-law Dan; and, his son David, 52, and daughter-in-law Loida; Grandchildren Heather, 38, Angelina, 9, Terence, 5; Great-Grandchild Emma Rose, 9, and his sister Marjorie, 88. We are celebrating his life in bright colours and joyful spirits. Thank you for your friendship, love, and encouragement over the years. You will be missed by many.

Affectionately known as "papa", we enjoyed so many great memories at the cottage golfing, playing cards & badminton. I will never forget the wonderful and thoughtful speech that he gave to me at our wedding. You will be missed but not forgotten.

As I wrote in the eulogy, I am grateful that you were my Dad- a Dad who encouraged me , modelled hard work, was an overcomer of a difficult start in life and found your passion for teaching math early in your life and pursued it for over 50 years! I miss you a lot but know you are with Christ now.
