It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Panayiotis Roussos on October 17 2025.
Panayiotis was the loving husband of Afrodite and a devoted father to his children, Cleanthes (Anna) and Maria (George). He was also a cherished grandfather to Chris, Aphrodite, and Panayiotis. Loving brother of Neovi, Christos and Nikos
Throughout his life, Panayiotis deeply valued family, friendship, and his Cypriot heritage. He greatly appreciated all that Canada represents, especially peace, opportunity, and community. He will be remembered for his resilience, his generous heart, and his unwavering love for his family.
Panayiotis was known for his kindness and the important role he played in helping family members settle in Canada and build meaningful lives. His home was a welcoming place for all, and he greatly enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He found happiness in connecting with people from all walks of life, whether chatting in the mall, greeting friends and neighbours, or sharing stories with visitors. A lifelong history aficionado, he often had much to say regarding world history, geography and politics. He was known for his generosity, hospitality, humor, and commitment to others.
Panayiotis will forever remain in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
May his memory be eternal.
