In memory of

Palden Tenduk Pulger

August 14, 1946 -  November 29, 2024

Palden Tenduk Pulger passed away on November 29, 2024 in Scarborough, Ontario. He went peacefully and without suffering. He is at peace.

He is survived by his wife Choden, his son Andrew, and his two sisters Ninzay and Rinchen.
Palden is also lovingly remembered by Ninzay’s son, his nephew Rahul, his wife Jasma, and their children Arianna and Kaira, who affectionately referred to Palden as Pappy. Ninzay’s daughter Nicola, husband Farhad and their son Armaan remember him affectionately as well. Palden’s sister Rinchen, her husband Nirad and son Jorden also travelled twice from Singapore to visit Palden and surprise him. He was very happy and thrilled to see them.

Palden was a very sociable soul and loved to entertain and cook for all of his friends and family. He is famous for his hot and spicy chicken wings, aloodum, and his famous Carrot and Kimchi pickles. He loved watching movies, sports, and was always willing to chat with people, no matter if they were a stranger or a friend. He was known for his outrageous sense of humor and wit, and willingness to speak his mind. He will be missed dearly.

Palden is being cremated on Wednesday, December 4th at Highland Memorial Funeral Home in Elgin Mills. There will be no service held at the Funeral Home. According to Buddhist tradition all the prayers are being held in Toronto and in the monastery in Kalimpong, India.

Palden’s celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at

Our Dearest Palden A friend of many seasons. Bless you for the wonderful memories our families Debbie, Gord, Shanel, Jaclyn and forever our Choden and Andrew. I still taste the spectacular Momos which we danced as we cooked and know Choden will teach me. Rest in peace now and thank you for being a part in my heart and wonderful memories I treasure.

I remember him from college days in Darjeeling as a fun loving person. He enjoyed photography and experimented with light and shade in capturing portraits. He loved cars and cooking with equal passion! I shall always remember the fantastic meals he cooked.

Loosing an amazing father and husband is one of the hardest things to go through in life. No words can help bring you comfort in this moment. But cherish all the memories you have in your heart because he will forever be with you smiling and always standing by your side.
My prayers are with you both.

Palden uncle.
A good man who was loving and caring of others. He was always very sociable and loved cooking for everyone. Palden uncle and his family always welcomed us and showed the best times even when as crazy kids we were running around. I remember the fun sleepovers. His world revolved around his family and most importantly his son Andrew. Andrew was his love and joy. May he rest in peace. Our love and respects to him.
