Owen Mortimer Thetford was born to the late Jasper Thetford and Beatrice Brown on December 4, 1925. He departed this earthly life on Friday, September 13, 2024.
He attended York Street Primary School in St. Catherine, Jamaica. His ambition was to become a builder so he left home at the age of 15 and went to a trade school in Kingston, Jamaica to pursue his dream.
He accepted Christ in his sixties and was an active member in the Pentecostal Church Community until health prevented him from participating.
Owen Mortimer Thetford leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife Gladys Thetford, Sister Agatha Ellis (Aunt Birdie), 5 Daughters, 3 Sons, 13 Grand Children, 18 Great -Grand Children and 7 Great- Great Grand Children. He leaves other family members, many devoted church members and friends to cherish his memories.
