Oswald Romualdo Tauro

April 6, 1952 - September 29, 2024

Surrounded by the love of his family and friends, Oswald, died peacefully on September 29th, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Hilda, his son, Shawn as well as his brother Eric. His memory will forever be cherished by his daughter, Synecca, cousin (Bai), nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Sunday October 6, 2024, for Visitation from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday October 7, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish.

Oswald will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

We were saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad. May God grant you the comfort, courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

I have fond memories of our association with the Eucharistic Ministry, Parish Council and Charity Events at St. Mary’s Church, Dubai. Ossy was a go getter - got things done efficiently without any fuss.

Oswald was a peaceful man, always thinking of others and always was there when one needed to talk.

He occasionally gave me blessings and sent his weekly prayer.

I enjoyed working with Oswald , and more so I enjoyed his company and friendship.

I will miss his calming voice , Oswald is now in a better place and welcomed by his family.
