In memory of

Olga Trochanowska

January 12, 1938 -  October 25, 2025

It is with love and gratitude that we share that Olga (Ola) Trochanowska died peacefully at home on October 25, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in Śnietnica, Poland, on January 12, 1938, the daughter of Teodora and Dymitr Oleśniewicz. She was the cherished wife of (late) Teofil Trochanowski, sister of (late) Pela, Maryla, Agata and Piotr, loving mother of Alina (Roman), Krzysztof (Anna) and Roman (Agnieszka). She was a devoted babcia to David and Aleksandra, whom she raised with care, and always wished to be with her grandchildren in Poland: Nina, Maja, Róża, Adam, Dorian, Julian, Karolina and Tomasz.

A caring and hard-working nurse for twenty-six years, she touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication. She was a skilled cook and generous hostess, delighting in lively gatherings and the warmth of the company of family and friends. She loved the outdoors and gardening, and cherished summers at the beach.

She found joy in knitting hundreds of sweaters, scarves and mittens, and satisfaction in solving crosswords. Her life was intertwined with music: she loved to sing and dance, and few moments passed when she was not at least humming or nodding along to a melody. Many family gatherings were spent singing with her sisters in harmony, and the sound of the accordion held a special place in her heart. She found great solace in prayer and the church throughout her life, and until her final days, she participated in mass on TV.

She will be remembered as a woman whose heart was full of love, whose hands were always busy creating, and whose presence made life brighter for all who knew her.
