In memory of

Olga Saroff

August 15, 1932 -  May 28, 2018

It is with great sorrow to announce the sudden passing of Olga Saroff on May 28, 2018, at 85 years old. Born in Drenoveni (Kranionas), Greece, she emigrated to Canada at 14 years old. She settled in Toronto where she met her soulmate and beloved husband of 58 years, John Saroff. The family is comforted in knowing they are reunited together in heaven.

Olga will forever be cherished by her children, Sylvia Maizis and her husband Paul, Dan Saroff and his wife April, and Linda Cimini and her husband Fabrizio. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, Michael and his wife Natalie, Matthew, Stephanie, Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Leonardo and Lorenzo. She will also be missed by her sisters Elsie and Lena. Her brothers, Gary and Boris predeceased her.

Olga spent most of her working years in the restaurant industry making her specialty sandwiches at rapid speed to the delight of customers. Memories of spending summers at Wasaga Beach with Olga and John will be cherished forever by their children and grandchildren.

In her latter years, Olga was a resident at Fieldstone Commons Care Community in Scarborough. The family is grateful for the compassion demonstrated towards Olga, with specific mentions to Vivian, Mary, Maxime and Annie, for always making sure she was comfortable.

Memorial donations may be made in Olga’s memory to Parkinson Canada or SickKids Foundation.
