In memory of

Olga Bedarf

March 11, 1934 -  August 17, 2021

The Bedarf family is saddened to announce the loss of Olga (Nee. Reder), who passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2021 at 1:15 pm in her 87th year. Beloved wife to Allan (d. 2021) for 62 wonderful years. Proud mother to Harry (Brenda) and Steven. Adored Grandmother to Kevin (Melissa) and Jason. She will also be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and by Annie and Jimmy, Anne Marie from Boston. Olga is predeceased by her husband Allan and her parents, Karl and Martha. The Bedarf family would also like to express their gratitude to Vaughan Hospice for their kindness and dedication, making Olga’s final days as peaceful, and comfortable as possible.

A golden heart stopped beating, your love and care now gone, your hard working hands finally at rest, it broke our hearts to see you go.
Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you,
Remembering you as you were those glorious days of years past and not as you are is easy. We do it every day. It’s the heartache of losing you that will never go away.

In loving memory of a dear wife, mother and grandmother.... Forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held in Olga’s memory on Saturday August 21st from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at York Funeral Centre. An interment will follow. Due to COVID 19, capacity is limited; therefore, we recommend reaching out to the family to confirm your attendance before the event. The Bedarf family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, you consider making a donation to Alzheimer's Society and/or Canadian Cancer Society in Olga’s honour.

They say when an elderly individual dies...a library burns to the ground. I wish I had more time to hear all the history and stories of her life....I wish I had been there more to hold her hand...I wish my heart wouldn't ache so...

I will miss you mom....forever in my heart..

I will forever cherish our wonderful conversations from the heart and the stories we shared. I wish we could have spent more time together. I will think of her always and will truly miss her wisdom, wit, and recollection of our lives from years past. Thanks for the memories.
