In Loving Memory of Oi Che Kwan

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Oi Che Kwan, a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister and aunt, and cherished grandmother. Oi Che passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Kai Kwen Kwan and the devoted mother of David (Paula) Kwan and William (Anita) Kwan. She was an affectionate sister to seven brothers and sisters and aunt to several nephews and nieces. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Lauren, Matthew, and Seth. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and a deep commitment to family.

Oi Che will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Visitation will be held on March 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery Visitation Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1. A funeral service will take place on March 8, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location, followed by the burial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either Michael Garron Hospital, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by love and light.

I still remember how active and happy she was at the big Christmas party. That's not something that can be forgotten.
