In memory of

O'Neil Mars

January 28, 1995 -  October 23, 2020

On Friday, October 23, 2020, O’Neil Mars was called home at the age of 25.

O’Neil was born in North York, Ontario on January 28, 1995. A son to Joanne Mars, Jasel and Septon Linton, and his God-Mother Pamela Williams. He is survived by his siblings Nicole, Shanice, Septon Jr, Casey, Chante, Corey, and O’Shane. He is also survived by his Grandmother Yyvonne and his Grandfather Julien. He will be dearly missed by his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nephew.

His life long passion for soccer provided him with the opportunity to play soccer in Europe on several occasions. O’Neil’s presence on the field was as bright as his smile, his love for the game was as big as his love for his family and friends.

After graduating from All Saints Catholic High School, he transitioned into a career as a Fire Alarm Technician. O’Neil enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends, his humour highlighted countless moments of our lives whilst leaving an everlasting impression on our hearts.

While his family and friends are deeply saddened by his loss, his love shall remain with us always.

To the Mars family. I am so sorry for your loss. O'neil was an outstanding young man. I had the honor of knowing O'neil from his grade school days at St. Thomas with my son Ryan. Then as his soccer coach with Whitby soccer for a few years. He was looked up to by many of his peers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and O'neil will always be remembered.

To Jasel and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of our friend O'Neil. We had the privilege of watching him grow from a youth playing soccer to a young, respectful adult. His wonderful spirit and beautiful smile will always remain in our hearts. Until we meet again, fly with the angels son.
