Passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto of pulmonary fibrosis. He was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 18, 1943 to Aubrey and Hattie Myers. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shirley, his two sisters, Susan and Sandra, and his brother Mark (married to Barbara).

His funeral will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery on June 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. The funeral will be live-streamed for everyone to view the ceremony. Donations can be made to the Lung Association in lieu of flowers.

Norm worked in the financial industry for Richardson Greenshield, starting as a stock boy and eventually ending up in the trading area. It was here that he met Shirley who would become the love of his life. While they did not have any children of their own, they were kept busy with many nieces and nephews (sleepovers, starting with a stop at Dairy Queen, became the weekly routine)! When they weren’t hosting kids, they hosted wonderful dinners with their friends (the Christmas open house always a favourite).

Norm was an avid golfer, and when he wasn’t on the fairway, he could be found watching many different sports events and old movies. He’s likely now on the green, happily putting in heaven. May he rest in peace.
